GIMP 2.6.10 für Mac verfügbar - Soeben wurde ein Snow Leopard-Paket für GIMP 2.6.10 veröffentlicht! Der Mac-Build wurde - wie schon in der Vergangenheit - von gimp.lisanet.de zur Verfügung gestellt!

GIMP 2.6.10 behebt Crashes! - Die letzte Version von GIMP (2.6.9) hatte leider einen Fehler, der beim Verwenden eines Scrollbalkens in einem Werkzeug-Einstellungsdialog-Dropdown das Programm zum Absturz brachte. Dieser und weitere Fehler wurden mit 2.6.10 behoben.

GIMP-Künstler! Eure HIlfe wird benötigt! - Wenn GIMP 2.8 Ende des Jahres / Anfang kommenden Jahres erscheint sollen eine Menge neuer Standard-Ressourcen mit dabei sein. Im Moment haben die Entwickler dazu aufgerufen Ihnen neue qualitativ hochwertige Ressourcen zuzuschicken die mit GIMP 2.8 mitgeliefert werden sollen!

GIMP 2.7.1 für Windows und Linux erschienen! - Am 29.Juni wurde GIMP 2.7.1 zum Download freigegeben. Die neue Version ist eine Entwicklungsversion und lädt Interessierte ein einen (erneuten) Blick auf die kommende Version 2.8 zu werfen!

GIMP 2.6.9 ist erschienen! - Heute ist GIMP 2.6.9 erschienen. Die aktuelle Version ist ein Release der Stable-Reihe und behebt deswegen ausschlißelich Bugs. Neue Features wurden nicht hinzugefügt.

Wie funktioniert GIMP mittels voll integriertem GEGL? - Viele von euch wissen mittlerweile, dass derzeit (immer noch) an der Integration der freien Graph-basierten Bibliothek GEGL in GIMP gearbeitet wird. Aber was bringt das alles genau und wie könnte GIMP funktionieren, wenn das Ziel der vollständigen Integration einmal erreicht ist?
